story :

n the heart of ancient Egypt, where the gods and the Nile converged in timeless harmony, there existed a sacred trinity—three divine forces that shaped the world, brought balance, and governed life and death. The Egyptian Trinity, known as "The Triad," consisted of the god Osiris, his sister-wife Isis, and their son Horus. Together, they represented the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth—a cycle that mirrored the rising and setting of the sun, the flood of the Nile, and the passage of the soul into the afterlife.

The story of the trinity is one of love, betrayal, resurrection, and vengeance. Osiris, the god of the afterlife, was betrayed and killed by his brother Set, the god of chaos. His body was scattered, but his wife, Isis, with magic and devotion, resurrected him long enough to conceive their son, Horus, who would one day avenge his father's death and restore balance.

The trinity's presence was felt in every aspect of Egyptian life. Osiris was the ruler of the afterlife, ensuring that souls would find peace. Isis, the goddess of magic, healing, and protection, was worshipped as a motherly figure who guided souls and gave them strength. Horus, the god of the sky, became the symbol of divine kingship, and his eye, the "Eye of Horus," was worn for protection against evil and misfortune.

But beyond their divine roles, there is an enduring mystery that surrounds the Egyptian Trinity. Why did the ancient Egyptians choose these three figures as the foundational forces of the cosmos? Some believe that they embodied the very essence of existence: birth, life, and death. Others whisper that the trinity holds the key to unlocking the hidden forces that govern not only the physical world but also the spiritual realms.

Material:

Pharaonic schist:

Refers to a variety of metamorphic stones widely used by the ancient Egyptians from 3100 to 30 BC. This stone is characterized by its layered composition, which facilitates its shaping and carving. Schist is composed of minerals such as mica, chlorite, and talc, giving it a lustrous sheen and a smooth surface. These qualities made it a valuable material for fine sculptures, ritual objects, and funerary items. The ancient Egyptians preferred schist for its ability to support intricate carvings, making it a prime material for temple statues, stelae, and tomb artifacts, which often held religious significance.
